The Lucky Labrador Brew Pub (915 SE Hawthorne Blvd) is located in an old roofing and sheetmetal warehouse. With high wood trussed ceilings, the Lab's warm rustic ambiance is a great place for a neighborhood pub. Founded in October, 1994, the Lab produces some of the tastiest brews in the northwest and serves up some simple, yet excellent, pub fare. Outside on the back covered patio is a great place to relax and converse with friends or hang out with your canine. We are proud to be a casual brew pub where people can enjoy quality products in an unpretentious atmosphere.

mmmm well. cool place but smells weird inside...like beer I guess ;)
I like the terrace and beeing outside
but I did not like the smell inside.
my glass of wine was not great and the smell of it was funny too.
I did not LOVE this place... cool people though!! and loved the pix at the entrance. I guess its better later at night? it was not super busy then- 0 people found this review helpful

Lucky Labrador Brewing Company
Lucky Lab was the first brewpub in Oregon to use a solar thermal system to brew beer. Solar panels on the roof of the pub generate energy to heat the water used in making beer. The renewable energy is also used to heat water needed for dishwashers and bathrooms.

Beer, Atmosphere, Dogs...
This is a must see for us when we come to PDX. We love our Lab and it is a real treat to hangout in the open,, warehouse style pub and sip a beer will your pooch sips water. Even if you dont have your pooch with you you an satisfy your need to pet a cute dog and a drink a great beer!

Iconic Portland Pub
The Lucky Lab is an iconic brewery in Portland. They have a huge meeting hall and big, covered patio out back (dog friendly!). And of course their beer is great too.
The food menu is a bit limited, but they have good sandwhiches (especially if you eat meat).
