  1. Philip Foster Farm

Phillip Foster Farm: After an overland route to Oregon City, known as the Barlow Road, was built, thousands of pioneers saw their first sign of civilization after nearly four months and 2,100 miles on the Oregon Trail at Phillip Foster's Farm. Here they could rest their livestock and weary feet while enjoying a true home-cooked meal and likely the first cup of coffee they'd had in months before pushing on through the final leg of the journey to Oregon City. Today the farm is a living history museum of what life in the Oregon Territory was like in the mid-1850s.
