Reviews

  1. Incredible Historical Location

Timberline Lodge is one of the great destinations in the US or the World. You should see it at least once. Build during the depression to give people meaningful jobs, it is obvious that it was a labor of love by skilled craftsmen.

The restaurant focuses on local foods put together in great combination and style. Combine local oysters, salmon, asparagus, blueberries or cherries (depending on the season) with world-class cooking skills and a fine Riesling or Pinot Noir and you have all the justification to sit and linger with friends while enjoying one of the best views around.

As part of your visit, you can ski or shred, bike, wind surf or hike to burn off the meals but you will leave with a great memory and learn some US history in the process.

  2. Mount Hood

On Mount Hood, located at 6,000 feet, Timberline Lodge is a National Historic Landmark, constructed in 1937 by local artists and craftsmen using mammoth timbers and native stone. Timberline Ski Area boasts North America’s longest ski and snowboard season. Timberline offers renewable energy credits through the SkiGreen program and uses earth friendly products in the cafeteria.
