  4. Breakfast

After a morning walk in South Park we stopped in for breakfast and would recommend the seafood entrees: Salmon Hash and Salmon eggs benidict
    a real NW treat.

  5. So many choices

The Heathman IS an old-school Portland institution, but what is so great about it is that you don't have to eat in the dining room to get amazing service. There's the bar and the lounge (with a fireplace and comfy chairs), which are open almost all day and night, with all of the menus available in each. And they have a ton of menus! The dining room menu, the bar menu, the dessert menu, and an awesome cheese menu. Then there's the happy hour menu. They have an enormous wine list (and tons of dessert wines by the glass), and fresh-squeezed cocktails. So you can go in there for a fabulous four-course dinner, a late afternoon snack, or just a drink and dessert. And EVERYTHING there is always solidly delicious.

  6. A Portland Institution

One of the oldest and still one of Portland's best fine dining restaurants. Service is perfect. Chef Phillipe is still motivated and passionate after all these years and the menu is always interesting. Wine list is one of the best in the city, and the staff very informed and friendly.
