Great sports bar and more

Love this locally owned place. I got tired of the chain and big box restaurants. This is a refreshing change of pace. It looks expensive, but isn't. My server, Alex, was great, friendly and quick. She took the time to explain the different beers they offered, and brought me a taste of a couple to help me decide.

The new Happy Hour menu is cheap and has good choices. The drink prices are quite reasonable, especially in the Pearl. Early evening is magical, with the outdoor lights on the trees and the candles inside.

I'll definitely come back for hot summer days on the deck!

Review for On Deck Sports Bar

The Pearl's premier sports bar has a casual vibe, with enough TV's for everyone in your group. The menu is upscale stadium fare, with 12 beers on tap, premium liquors and a short but nice wine list. While it's fun to watch your favorite team during the big games, it's also a nice place to relax after work. Happy Hour runs from 3:30 - 6:30PM Mon-Fri, and again from 9 PM to close every day, with $2 - $4.50 menu items and beverage specials. On Deck has the largest outdoor dining area in Portland, with a huge 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor deck.

On Deck

It is a sports bar and you should not expect anything else than a sports bar. The big outside deck they have is nice, inside you find more TVs than in an electronics store. The food can unfortunatly not keep up with the entertainment equipment. When a big game is on TV and the place is packed it is a good place to come to cheer on your team. At other times the free wireless internet seems to be the most appealing attraction.
