  1. Lively atmosphere

Oba has a lively bar with great cocktails. The restaurant is a bit open but great for people watching. The food is outstanding. Especially the Cuban pulled Flank Steak.

  2. Oba-riffic

We've been to Oba a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Whether it was for drinks; great mojitos! Or a full dinner: attentive, informative, very professional wait staff. Or dessert: tasty treats.
We've always been pleased by the service, no matter how packed the restaurant/bar happen to be.
One of my favorite places in Portland.

  3. OBA

Oba has a great happy hour. Drinks as well as food items make this happy hour a winner in my book. Parking can be difficult but it's the Pearl so that's expected.

  4. Happy hour that lives up to the name

Oba's happy hour offers fabulous food and drink deals on the beverages you actually want to drink. For a margarita snob, you will not be disappointed, especially with the blood orange variety. The only downside with this Pearl jewel is that it is in no way a secret, so getting a table can be tricky. However, if you have to sit at the bar you are just that much closer to their delicious and cheap beverages. Leave time to linger, people watch and enjoy food selections that are perhaps even more surprisingly delicious than the drinks.

  5. Good happy hour drinks & snacks

I have mixed feelings about this one. I love this place at happy hour. Good selection of drinks specials. And the dishes are fairly cheap, so you can sample a few different delicacies. Weekend dining in the restaurant is another matter - loud, busy, surly servers, pricey dishes (whose quality doesn't match the price tag).

  6. DO you like latin?

Oba is one of my favorite places to go in Portland! The food is great, excellant wine list, and a great atmosphere. Oba has a great happy hour with discounted food and drinks. The menu is always changing so there is always new items to try. Its a little pricy but its worth it. If you come to portland or just looking for a new place to Oba is a must!!!!!

    Good atmosphere

My daughter took me here for a celebration. I really enjoyed the food, the drinks, and I love the atmosphere. I would recommend this place for a small celebration or anniversary party.

  8. Margaritas!!

DELICIOUS margaritas that come in a pint glass, even during happy hour! Try the Oregon Marionberry... not too sweet. Good food. I've only been for happy hour and it's a fun place. Not the cheapest happy hour (or the most food) but one of my top places nonetheless.
