  1. Excellent food, great prices

Saburo's is an incredible deal for really great sushi. I highly recommend the Sea Urchin, Big-O deep fried roll (what isn't great when deep fried!) and the Hawaiian. Everything else I we had was awesome too, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quantity you get and the qualify of the fish.

  2. Get there early

My favorite Sushi joint in town.
Go heavy on the local fish: Salmon, Halibut, and crab is hard to beat.
This is crazy cheap, crazy good, and really busy.
Get there early on weekdays (they open at 5)

  3. How to not wait in line

Great little place with rolls and nigiri that are obscenely large. This, combined with no take-out, means there's almost always a wait. Here's how to avoid this and feed from their yummy goodness quicker:

    1) Go on a Monday or Tuesday. It's their slower days, so less wait. Wait time is rated 3 of 5.
    2) Arrive 20 minutes before opening. If you're luckily, you'll be in the first batch of the customers seated. Wait time is rated 3 of 5.
    3) Arrive 45 minutes before closing. The rush will be over and you'll wait, but not too long. Wait time is rated 4 of 5.
    4) Come on a Tuesday at at 8:30 p.m. I'll be the ope just walking in and sitting at a table with my wife. Wait time is rated 5 of 5!

  4. Big, cheap, and yummy sushi rolls

I love going to this Sushi place, even with the long wait it is worth it. Why? It doesn't have a trendy atmosphere with classy Asian decor and serves one sushi roll for $13.99. You get to order huge portions for very low prices and you will leave your tummy feeling very satisfied. If you're looking to not spend a ton of money but craving sushi - this is the perfect place to go.
