  1. Might keep the secret for myself

The restaurant’s name is perfectly accurate: if you didn’t know it was there, you’d miss it entirely. Gloria opened her El Salvadorian restaurant a few years ago, and has managed her business single handedly with a small kitchen and even smaller fridge. She’s doing something right, because my office visits her almost weekly and we're not the only ones.

I had the fish tacos the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the flaky, moist texture. And can we take a moment to discuss her mango salsa?! Mango, strawberry, cabbage and I don’t know what else, but it’s fresh, light, and pairs brilliantly to compliment the flavors. She is most well known for her tamales (which can be purchased at the Raleigh Hills New Seasons BTW), and has received many write ups in local publications.

If you’re going to have the full experience 1) go early for lunch (she sells out quickly), 2) ask Gloria what you should have, and 3) bring cash so you can pay (and therefore be welcomed back).
