Off the beaten path, in quaint Multnomah Village, is one of the city's treasures -- Annie Bloom's Books. Since 1978, this shop has offered an excellent inventory of new and classic titles. Always a great stop for a gift or a new read for yourself. Friendly staff and thoughtful displays and reviews help guide you to new literary discoveries. All this, and there's a resident cat, too! Open late (for the Village) -- 'til 10 nightly.
