Artisan Producer: Pearl Bakery

In February 1997, Pearl Bakery opened its doors with only a handful of employees, a small product line and little fanfare. It was one of the first businesses on this block near the edge of Portland’s Pearl District, one block from Powell’s City of Books. Since then, the bakery has grown with the vibrant neighborhood, and now offers pastries, sandwiches, bread, coffee and tea to the growing number of workers and residents of the Pearl District seven days a week.

Amazing lattes, great service

The employees at Pearl Bakery are always so incredibly nice and really brighten my day. They are attentive and kind, just what I need in the morning! Their soy lattes are ridiculously amazing.
