Unexpected Deliciousness

If you've read my profile, you know I like to try new things. Well this place is truly out of the norm in the fact that it's not in downtown portland. It's on 82nd Ave, in the Fubonn Asian strip Mall. Now I try to steer clear of eating anywhere on 82nd, because it's just a little bit too sketchy for me, BUT i've read reviews in the Willamatte Week about this place and they raved about it. So we decide to try it. Man were we suprised with delight. First off I would recommend trying any place in the Fubonn Center. Everything is new and clean and very nice. The Malay Satay Hut suprised us with I very diverse menu of all things Malayasin.. It is, of course, asian cuisine, but ALL the food was of the freshest quality and some had flavors and spices I've never experienced. The only downside seemed to be that none of the wait staff was assigned to a particular table. They all kind of helped each other out, so it sometimes took a while, or they were unsure of what another was doing for you. Other than that, TRY THIS PLACE!!! Price-wise, it was moderate to expensive.
