Hidden Gem!

Even longtime Portlanders don't often know about this place -- which is a good thing, considering its cozy size. The building was originally a pharmacy in the late-1800s, and still retains that historic charm, with a huge wood bar, intimate booths, and a small seating area with velvet couch. The real draw, though, is the beautiful back garden, the perfect place to enjoy the Portland summer sun and a local microbrew. The menu is small -- salads, pastas, sandwiches -- but delicious as well.
